The following are the known bootleg recordings of Godflesh concerts. I don't own all of the following recordings, and many I don't know how to obtain, or if their existence is certain. There is another listing of bootlegs, which can be found here. This listing has some confirmed shows, while others are not. Notes:

• This show is (was?) the most accessable Godflesh live show. Recorded onto 3 different bootlegs, this is also one of the only bootlegs that was packaged and sold.

• The Crumbled Flesh cassette is from Germany, but only contains tracks 3-7.

• The Nottingham 1989 bootleg cassette contains tracks 1-8, with 1-2 being studio tracks, not live.

• The Live From Hell bootleg, is a vinyl copy. It contains tracks 3-9. I've never seen a copy, and I've only heard that Straight To Your Heart is on it, but I'd wager that it is the studio recording, which would date this bootleg no earlier than May of 1991. Printed in Iraq, the cover has six pictures of Pinhead from the movie Hellraiser.

• Found on all three versions, the lyrics to Christbait Rising are quite different than those that appear on the album. You'll find that on many early recordings, Justin either changes or just fouls up the lyrics immensely!

• There is another Crumbled Flesh bootleg, though this one is on vinyl, and it contains a different show. Date is unknown.

Notes:

• Like most shows in 1990/1991, the band opens up with Love is a Dog from Hell, and the closer, Pulp is very long. Typically, Paul Neville will come on stage from Streetcleaner through the remainder of the show, which is sometimes 2 songs, or more. They end their shows with a feedback noisefest, with both Justin and Paul manipulating their guitars and pedals. This show's outro was very long.

• During Streetcleaner, someone may have been playing live drums.

• Justin begins the show with a chant of Flesh, and then proceeds with a very energetic show! One of the better performances I've seen.

• This show is shot from the right hand part of the stage, and is somewhat of a pro video. There are plenty of visual effects that make the experience more interesting!

Notes:

• One of the longest sets I've seen the band do, there is a lengthy outro to Like Rats as well as for Predominance. Robert Hampson does not appear on this video as originally thought, though there is an underlying guitar track being played as the band plays. Justin is very active throughout the show, and the first few songs have somewhat sloppy (!) playing due to that. His voice is also a bit scratchy, especially on Slateman and Monotremata. This is one of the 6 shows the band headlined after the Skinny Puppy tour had ended.

• There are 2 versions of this video. On one version, there is a computer generated graphic of the word Godflesh at the beginning and ends by freezing an image of Justin mid-riff, the other version has no intro and 11 minutes of noise after Predominance. Version one also includs most of the sound check.

• Version one may have an edited performance from Skinny Puppy, but it isn't from the same venue, or date.

• This bootleg isn't a live show, and is a rather rare find. Both are studio tracks, and this actually has a cover. It is woman image found on the inlay of Streetcleaner, w/ Godflesh written sideways. (The same image found on the promotional poster from 1991)
