Another solo project created during the heyday of '96-'97, this project was originally titled Solaris. Due to the many other bands with the same name, Justin added the B.C. suffix to distinguish his from the others.
Dermot Dalton (Jesu, Final, Cable Regime, Line, Saskwatch) assisted on some recordings.
Solaris B.C. had a pair of 12"s appearing on Justin's Lo Fibre. A third was scheduled for the same label, but this never came out. Perhaps the same material, Submerged Technology was slated for release on Sentrax but the label folded before this could be issued. A 1999 release on AvalancheInc. met the same fate. Finally, in early 2009 these tracks were remastered and finally made available through Avalanche Recordings. Several other compilation tracks also exist. This project was later collapsed into Final. |
